Iphone 5 won't connect to computer at all but charges when using wall charger?
I've just got an iphone 5, when connecting it to the computer nothing seems to happen - the phone doesn't charge and the computer or itunes doesn't recognise it. When using the same cable with the wall charger it charges… What can i do? I can't go to Apple as i don't have a receipt?
Where did you get it from if you do not have a receipt? Just hope it wasn't a bargain off ebay.
The first time you plug the phone in the drivers will be downloading and then installing so you need to give it a few minutes to respond depending on the spec of your computer.
Sometimes it's the usb port on the computer that isn't' working properly, try another port. Also make sure your iTunes and iPhone5 is up to date, cause i last time i had a problem the iPad it wasn't charging at all, it was the software update.
check under device manager and see if there's any yellow yellow exclamation point, if there's then it's a usb problem.
