IPhone 5c rear camera not working?
I just got my iPhone 5c about two weeks ago and on the second or third day my rear camera stopped working. I thought it would just pass over and work again but it still won't! I don't understabd what to do.
1.) If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
2.) If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
3.) Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
4.) Third-party cases can interfere with the autofocus/exposure feature and the flash (iPhone 4 only); try removing the case if you have image-quality issues with photos.
5.) Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
6.)Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
7.) Try to remain steady while focusing:
- Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center. Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
- Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. After recording begins, you can't readjust focus until you stop recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll. Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
8.) If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

- Why is my iphone 5 rear camera suddenly blurry? So it's not that it's dirty, I've tried cleaning it. It was literally fine yesterday but all of a sudden it like won't focus. When I first switch to the rear cam, for a split second it's fine. Then it just goes to being unfocused. Is it just a problem with the auto focus? If so, and I have to take it into apple, will I have to pay for a solution? If so how much. P.s my front defacing camera is completely fine
- Verizon iPhone 4 stuck on shutter after screen replacement? Only rear camera works? After replacing a cracked screen on a verizon iphone 4 the frontfacing camera is stuck on shutter, while the rear camera only works sometimes… I have tried checking the connections, as well resetting everything and even restoring. I have heard about possibly jumping something on the logic board but can't find where, a picture would be great.
- Rear Camera and Flaslight stopped working on iPhone 6s? So last night I accidentally dropped my face, landing on the screen. 5 minutes later I tried turning on my flashlight, but it wasn't working same as my rear camera. So does anyone have any idea why and what I can do to get it working again?
- My iphone 5 rear camera does not focus I have an iphone 5, i had it around 3 months and i just installed ios 7, and recently when i want to take a picture, it does not focus even when i tap on the screen, it only focuses on close objects, i tried tapping with my hand but nothing worked ( i had the problem before ios 7) any solutions?
