IPhone 5s camera shutter going off when sound is off?
My sound is off my volume is down but the camera shutter still goes off at high volume. How do I turn it off?
There are multiple different volume values in an Iphone, such as media volume, ringer volume, alarm volume etc. Make sure the correct volume option (media volume, also just called volume, which can be accessed via apps) is turned off.
Depending on where the iPhone came from its not possible to turn off the shutter sound for legal/government reasons.

After replacing a cracked screen on a verizon iphone 4 the frontfacing camera is stuck on shutter, while the rear camera only works sometimes… I have tried checking the connections, as well resetting everything and even restoring.
