IPhone 5s charging from dead?
I've had my iphone 5s since Christmas time and yesterday was the first time it had ever completely ran out l battery. This was due to broken charger so I had to wait to get new one. I'm currently using an adapter that changes an old iPhone cable to lighting. When I plug this in it shows the lighting plug and flashing battery. It stayed like this for an hour with no sign of turning on.It never any issues before the battery running out.
If you never let your iPhone die then you might not realize that when your iPhone completely dies out, the phone won't turn back on until the battery has reached a certain charge level, usually around 5%. This is to protect the phone, memory, and software from corruption incase there's a charging issue during boot up and cuts out again. It is more of a failsafe. Now since your were using a 30pin to lightning adapter, the charge time would have increased due to the differences in output from both cables.

Just called up apple and found out the answer, decided to share it with the world to keep your sound systems safe. If your charge your ipod touch or Iphone, Have it unplugged from your sound system. Cheers. kind of agree with you man, But my logitech z5500 system is like $1000 new right now… Insane, don't want to take a chance. But your probably right.
