Iphone 5s only charges when dead?
K so my phone went completely dead because when i plugged in my phone, it wasn't charging. But when its dead, ill plug it up and it will charge until it turns on (it turns on automatically at like 3%) but then it won't charge anymore. Why? Its annoying. I don't want it to ruin my battery.
Just keep it plugged in
I've heard of people having this exact problem with iPhones. The only one thing I can think of to do (when the phone is on) hold the power and lock buttons down at the same for 10 seconds (or once the phone cuts off) immediately after it is off, keep holding down the power button until it turns back on. This should calibrate the battery sensor. If all else fails, your phone might be damaged. If it is, iPhones are pretty cheap to fix and you can take it to a local repair store to be repaired. Best of luck!
It's the charger… Buy a new one from amazon or where ever.
