Iphone 5s (or watever iphone you have) Do you guys leave auto brightness on or off?

I realize that when I'm at home, my battery life is quite long compared to when I'm outside. Obviously when I'm outside there's more sunlight, hence making the phone reach full brightness. So I decided to turn auto brightness off and set it miyself. (usually halfway down.)

Just wanted to know do you guys turn auto brightness off? And does it affect your battery life? F

I always have mine at the lowest possible, just because my eyes are sensitive to the bright light. But I have noticed that having it this way saves the most battery opposed to when it's full on bright.

I leave the auto off, I think its a waste. I set screen brightness to 60% roughly which is fairly bright and turn auto off.

  • Why Doesn't My iPhone 5s Auto Brightness Adjust? I have an iPhone 5a an for some reason, it doesn't seem to adjust whenever I'm in low and high lit area. What should I do?
  • What are some iphone apps that you guys recommend to have? Stuff that could make me more productive or maybe an app that just adds convenience to my daily routines? I'm also looking for apps that keep me up to date in stocks/business and news around the world. Or maybe an app that offers inspirational quotes. Any recommendations?
  • IPhone auto brightness- how does it really work? Once I unlock my 4s, the screen either gets brighter or darker, depending on lighting. Now, let's say my screen adjusted itself to a brighter setting in a bright room. Without turning off my phone, I move to a darker room. Now shouldn't the brightness automatically dim? Or is this how the feature works (adjusts only when device is unlocked)?
  • How to turn off the auto power off on an iPhone 6? Okay, I didn't exactly know what it was called but it's the thing that when you don't touch your phone for a while, the screen dims, then turns off. I write my stories on my phone then I copy them onto my laptop. But my phone keeps turning off and it's annoying. So how do you turn that thing off in setting?
