IPhone 5s screen turned black and I can't see anything on the screen?

My iPhone 5s screen turned black without warning, while I wasn't using it. I have the assistive touch icon on and it still shows on the screen. My home button is broken. I can see when I change the volume and I can receive calls and notifications, and I can get to Siri through my assistive touch. I've read that I need to reset my phone, which I can't do while my home button is broken. Please ask for more details if needed.

There are three ways to fix your phone,
1. Contact the Manufacturer

Before you attempt any DIY screen repair options you should check with the company that made your phone.
2. Screen Protector or Tape

If you can't fix your broken smartphone screen right away, there are some steps you can take to use the iPhone or Android with a broken screen. Assuming only the glass is broken, which means the screen still shows an image and responds to touch, you can use this as a stopgap until you can afford to replace the screen yourself.

3. DIY Screen Repair and Replacement

The cheapest way to fix a broken iPhone screen or broken Android screen is to perform a DIY screen replacement.
