IPhone 5s won't respond to touch?
A few days ago, my iPhone 5s' screen stopped responding to touch.
It's not an all the time thing, but its frequent enough to become annoying.
I've only had it since May. And I have two year warranty on it but I don't want to send it off and be phoneless for god knows how long. (I sent an iPod away a few years back, and it took THREE WEEKS just to get it back and all it was getting was a new screen.)
I've tried restarting it and it works for a little while but then I have to jab the screen a million times. Its been to the point where it won't even unlock. The fingerprint unlock won't work either when it "freezes".
I want to avoid a hard reset as much as possible. But if I absolutely HAVE to I will.
We don't have an Apple store close to us (closest is an hour or two away), so taking it to the store will be only if necessary.
If you bought it from your cell phone carrier, take it to their store. They usually have trained technicians on duty.
I would try a hard reset press the home button and the lock button at the same time until it powers off and powers back on if that doesn't resolve your issue then I would get in contact with Apple, Goodluck.
- Why did she give me her number if she won't respond back to me? I met a really cute girl last night and started talking and she was like I'm about to leave take my number so we swapped number hugged and she left and was like text me. So today I text her and saw that the text I sent was read (we both have an iPhone) and she never responded. She seemed interested in me. So i don't know why she just read my text and didn't text me. Why did she give me her number if she didn't reply to my text?
- Bottom part of my iphone touch screen won't respond? I got my screen replaced by a friend and it has not had any problems but I feel like something happened when I was swimming with it in my lifeproof case. There isn't water damage and the warranty does not cover it if it was replaced by non apple store. What could be the problem? Can i fix it myself?
