Added (1). My brother in law is 15 and is in that "know it all" phase they all go through. He thinks that no product is better than an Apple product, namely iPhone. We're Android fans and love the Note 4's specs (keeping in mind that its not out yet). He swears up and down the new iPhone is better, what is true?
The Note has superior hardware, you can't really argue with that. It's going to be a faster phone. So on one hand you could say the Note is superior, however there are few apps that will max out either phone. Where the Note will probably(you can't tell for sure before using the phones) surpass the iPhone is when running multiple apps. Here the extra performance should really be noticeable. However most of your like/dislike of a phone comes from the interface. I myself VASTLY prefer Android interface, however a lot of people like the iPhone more(obviously, it's extremely popular). Hardware wise the Note is undeniably better but it comes down to the OS. So which is better pretty much depends on which interface you prefer in my opinion.

Iphones don't lag which is a major bonus also
