IPhone 7 plus unresponsive home button? - 1
I just recently replaced a cracked screen on a iPhone 7 plus. It was a cheaper screen replacement. During the process I ripped the proximity sensor, front facing camera part of the phone. The phone does not have a working front camera, flash, sound as expected. I can replace that part fairly cheap. My question is the home button is also not responding. Would that also correlate to ripping that part? Or would that be a completely separate issue? If it is different issue what would be causing the home button to not be responsive?
It is because it was not replaced with an Apple approved replacement. In this case you got what you paid for.
- Unresponsive iPhone 5 home button? - 1 I got a new iPhone 5 about a month ago and not once has my home button worked. I didn't wanna take it back cause then I would have to wait and get a new one which I don't wanna do. It worked like two times and that was the day I got it. Does anyone know how to fix it? If you do please help!
- Unresponsive home button on iPhone 6 I've had my iPhone 6 for nearly two years, and yesterday, the home button became unresponsive. It was working perfectly fine before that. When I reboot my phone, I get a notification saying "Unable to activate Touch ID on this phone". It never said that before the home button stopped being responsive. I also have battery problems with this phone. Is there a way to fix this?
- My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!

IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
