Iphone and blackberry messaging problem
Okay, so i had an iphone 3gs, all was working well until i was playing football and it fell out my pocket.
The screen cracked and the touch screen underneath no longer worked.
i switched my simcard to an old blackberry i had, and it all worked fine.
However, when i try text a friend who uses imessage, his replies come through on my iphone, and ovcourse there's no way for me to reply, or to turn off imessage on my iphone because my touch screen doesn't work…
any suggestions? If i just drain the battery on my iphone will the imessage automatically go off?
If you turn the iPhone off then no iMessages can be sent through to it. It will continue to receive iMessages even without a SIM if it is still picking up a Wi-Fi signal, so if you can't use the touch screen to turn off Wi-Fi on iMessage on the iPhone - just turn the phone off.
Then if you have your SIM in a Blackberry your messages should then just come through as normal text messages. If you are going to continue to use a BB you might want to let your network know so you can switch onto a Blackberry plan and get inclusive use of BBM, emails, internet etc. For £5 per month.
- What instant messaging apps are good for iphone and blackberry? I recently got the iphone 5 and my girlfriend still has a blackberry, i was wondering what instant messaging apps are good for us to communicate with? We used bbm all the time and never had any problems with it its a great app, i'd like something that's very similar!
- Problem with text messaging on iPhone? My mother has an iPhone, and today I got my first. However, whenever I send a receive texts, they go to her iPhone as well. This did not happen at all with my last phone, which was an android. Why is this happening? It's irritating, and I need a fix as soon as possible.
- Problem with iPhone text messaging? Ever since I downloaded the new iOS my text messages all have the current date and time on them instead of the actual date and time they were sent or received. Any idea what is going on or how to fix this?
- Is MMS messaging free with unlimited SMS text messaging with a T-Mobile iPhone? I have unlimited texting(SMS) and I just recently turned on my picture text messages (MMS) settings for my iPhone. I was wondering if I have to pay for MMS for every incoming or outcoming pic, or does it count as unlimited texting too? I pay for my internet too, if that helps with anything: P
