Iphone and Ipad not connecting to my computer?
Both my Iphone 4s and Ipad mini were bought this week. Trying to connect to my PC to sync my stuff. Neither are recognized by the computer and neither will charge. Doesn't show signs of any connection.
I have connected them to my wall charger and they work fine. I have connected my mouse and webcam to the same usb ports that I have tried and they both work.
Previously, I had a Itouch 4g on my itunes but lost it a few weeks ago. I have windows 7 home
Maybe its the cable, are you using the same cable to connect the devices to the computer as you would to the wall? In itunes (preferences -> devices) is "prevent itunes from syncing ipod, ipads, and iphones automatically" checked? Do the devices see your computer in home sharing? Try rebooting the machine and devices - (iphone, ipad i think you hold home and power at the same time for a couple seconds)
Bad usb connection? Try a diff usb port.
- Why is my iphone 4 (not an IOS) not connecting to my itunes 10.6? I've downloaded the latest version of itunes 5 times and every single time it says "the iphone can't be used because it requires iTunes version 10.5 or later". What to do? What to do?
- Unblock iPad/iPhone from connecting to Wi-Fi? My brother blocked my iPad and iPhone from connecting to Wi-Fi, how do I unblock this? No he didn't turn Wi-Fi off, he just blocked me somehow. He didn't change the Wi-Fi password either. He somehow went into the router settings and blocked me, so how do I go into router settings and unblock me. I'm using iMac with an apple airport router.
- Suddenly only my computer is not connecting to the Internet. Why A couple days ago my gateway nv53 running windows 7 suddenly shut down not too long after a virus was found, upon restarting the Internet is no longer connecting and saying it is connected with "limited access". My iPhone, Xbox, and other devices in my apartment still function normally and only my computer is not connecting. Any solutions? This is frustrating.
- My iPhone isn't connecting properly to my Windows XP computer? Not detecting photos? I've been trying to view my photos from my iPhone and transfer music from my computer onto it but its not working. The Camera and Scanner Wizard thing opens and a pop up comes up on my phone saying "Trust This Computer?" and I select "Trust" and it appears to try to sync but then it fails. The wizard says there are no photos on my camera but there are! How do I fix this? My USB cable isn't loose or anything and when I got into my computer it shows Apple Iphone.
