IPhone app w/ PTT that connects to Skype?
I'm an MMO gamer. I have friends that are also gamers. We will be playing FFXIV: ARR when it comes out. FFXIV is cross platform (PC and PS3 players can play together). Some of us will be on PC, others on PS3.In the past, us PC players would use Skype to communicate during game sessions. Is there any way to include the PS3 players on Skype without a PC?
They all have iPhones, and we know that there's a Skype app for the iPhone, but it does not have a push to talk function. It has a mute button, but that means they'd have to push unmute, talk, push mute. Also, the mute button is like a centimeter away from the hang up button, and in the midst of battle I expect lots of hung up calls if that's the method they'd employ.
If all else fails, I guess they can just leave the mic always on, though that would suck. Ideally, a free app that supports PTT that connects to Skype as well would be great.
I don't want to go the Ventrilo route because I'd rather not pay for A service that's literally just for 4 of us.

- Why does my screen go blank when I cover the cam on my iPhone on the Skype app? I have an iPhone 5 and when I'm on Skype - even when I'm not in a call and I cover the camera my screen goes blank. It also does this when I'm on the home screen and signed into Skype but not when I log off - I don't know whether this always happens and I've just never noticed it or whether something is up? X
- What should I do so that my iphone connects to known Wi-Fi automatically? So recently I reset my network settings as someone said that I should do that to lose a problem (my phone was giving me two text alerts when I've only received one. Yes I checked the notifier already which I put to never) so that problem is solved but now everytime I get home, I have to key back in my Wi-Fi password whereas last time it would automatically connect. I've been resetting my network settings a few times but nothing has changed.
- What is the device called that connects your iphone to your car stereo to play music? I want to buy the device that connects your iphone to your car stereo to play music that is on your phone (such as pandora). I need it for my long drive back to college. p.s. I just got an iphone and i'm iphone-illiterate.
- Skype sign in via facebook clashes with iphone app sign in? I have signed into a skype account via my facebook login details (on a PC). I now have downloaded the app on my iPhone, but can't sign into the app with this facebook details like i do on the PC Any help, since i have added contacts to this (fb) skype and would like to use this on my mobile device also
