IPhone Backup Transfer Without Reset?
I got a new iPhone. I put set it up with the wrong backup. I want to get the backup of a different device onto it. Is that possible without reseting my iPhone?
No. In an iOS device you can't access or restore different backups onto your device without restoring your device to factory settings first then going back through the setup wizard to choose the correct backup.
Since you just got a new iPhone, remember that you're eligible for phone support with AppleCare for 90 days at 1-800-MYAPPLE.
Hope I could help.
- Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…

- Restoring from backup after iPhone reset because of a bug? If I have a bug in my iPhone and I want to reset it, and I backup first in iTunes on PC, will the bug return when I restore from backup?
- Is there a way(without computer)to move my texts from my iPad to my IPhone? ICloud backup? Had to restore phone to last backup and lost texts? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
