Iphone backup want to save my whatsapps and Imessages?
So my Iphone is locked because someone changed my password and i can't access it, and i don't want to restart it without backing it up, but i don't know what i will actually get to keep. I want to keep my whatsapps and imesseges especially, but i don't know what to do… Please help… Oh and if you know how to re start it, please comment it too…
Ouch, what you will have to do is in iTunes backup your device. Your iMessages and all your apps will be backed up. But the data in your whatsapps will not be saved. Then in iTunes just click restore and your good to go.
- Why is my Iphone not sending as Imessages and receiving iMessages from one person? I'm texting my wife and we both have iPhone's and she is getting the messages as an iMessage but the ones I'm sending her on my end show up at green. Sometime it will go as blue, get the little red exclamation point then send as regular SMS. I'm texting someone else too and she has an iPhone, and she is getting mine as regular iMessages and mine are sending as regular iMessages. Why aren't they sending to me wife as iMessages?
- When i backup my Itunes. Does it save my apps and the memory in my apps? I have to backup my Iphone 4 to Itunes because i'm afraid it's going to break again. I don't want to lose my information in my apps. Cause i have a music app with over 300 songs and i don't want to lose them and have to re download them? Any help
- My iPhone 4s is on iOS 7.1.2 and I want to upgrade to 9.2 but do I need to backup my files? I read if youre on an iOS lower than 8 you need to backup your files to upgrade to iOS 8 because they ll be deleted but IIm jumping from 7 to 9, will all my stuff be gone/do i need to save everything on my computer?

Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
