IPhone BARELY got wet, turned off by itself?

Please Help. I know there's not much you all can do but share your similar experiences and what you did to fix it. Okay, so I was going to the bathroom and I put my iPhone on the sink, when I was done I turned the water on so it'll get hot, as I was about to wash my hands, I accidentally hit my iPhone into the sink! There was little water in the sink but the faucet was on. Still, I quickly got it out of there, it was probably in there for half a second. So I dried it off with one swipe of a towel( there was that little water on it. Once it was dried, I hit my home button and everything was working as it should. Since there was barely any water on it I figured it was fine. So about an hour later I went to get on twitter and the screen just starts flickering and then turns off completely. I tried to turn it back on but I wouldn't. So immediately I put it in a ziplock full if rice… Is there ANYTHING you guys suggest I should do? Has this happened to you, what'd you do?

Put it in rice brah

May have shorted something out with the moisture on the circuit board. Keep it off and in the rice bag for the night, at a minimum. If you can, leave it in there until tomorrow afternoon to be safe. Try to turn it on then. If a no go, then you'll probably want to take it to an iPhone repair shop. At the very least they can diagnose and let you know if it's salvageable.

You can put it in some rice if the water was the cause, but my friends and my moms iphone shut off often all the time so i wouldnt worry about it too much.

It's screwed if it shorted out when the water hit it, it's pointless to put it in anything, if the electronics shorted it's stuffed simple as that. Electronic components won't simply fix themselves…
