Iphone battery died during latest update now phone won't turn on?

I have iphone 3gs. I got a system message to say an update was available so i said yes to the update however my battery must have died during the update which wasn't completed and now my phone won't turn on. I have plugged it in to charge and the apple icon appears then disappears, then appears and disappears again. I have tried holding both the buttons to power on/off/restore but doesn't seem to work either. Anything ele i can try before going to the apple store?

  • Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
  • My wifes iphone battery died and won't come on? My wife just called from work to say that her phone died and when she plugged it back in it tells her to connect to itunes and shows the USB symbol, like the way it come from the factory. Does anybody know why and what she has done or what to do? Thanks Is there any danger of a real answer of meaning. The phone is with her at work and simply ran out of battery. She says she turned it back on and that is what the phone says. Is this possible or has she formatted it or messed with it?
  • My mom died last year and now all of her pictures died too. Restore without iCloud? I'm in serious pain rn, please help me, I have no iCloud and all my pictures got deleted and are gone from my iPhone 6. This is all I have from my mom from last year, her last year, is there any chance I can download software on my computer even for money and get them back? Anyone who restore without iCloud?
  • My iPhone 4's battery recently died and won't turn on anymore? So my iPhone 4's battery recently died and now whenever I try to turn it on it shows that no battery thing even if its been plugged in for 2 days! My friend says this has happened to her and it was so much out of battery that it was actually dead and never reopened! I'm afraid that I will loose all my data like my contacts, my photos, my apps, etc… Does anyone know what to do?
