IPhone can't be affected by adware or viruses. True or false?
No viruses currently affect iOS.
True or false?
True
Anything with an "operating system"
can be affected by malware or viruses.
The only fully effective way to prevent such problems
is keeping the device from connecting to the infernalnet.
Kind of true, you can't get viruses, but you can get a ton of ads when you install free software
It is more than likely possible, but as of now nothing.
False. All devices that connect to the internet are susceptible to getting viruses.
Untrue. They can certainly get adware and malware. But successful viruses which can readily infect other iOS (and MacOS) systems simply don't exist.
Viruses are possible on iOS, but there's a very low return on investment for hacker when it's far easier, faster and provides a better return to attack the most common OS, Windows, which is also inherently much easier to exploit. Unless Microsoft go right back to the drawing board and redesign the Windows architecture and hardware requirements from the ground up then they will always be playing cat and mouse with malware designers.
The resistance to viruses is because iOS is effectively a variant of Unix (as is Linux) and the entire architecture makes it far more difficult for viruses to propagate. Unix variants are designed as multi-user systems with super-user/root controlling the system. The side effect is that kernel and other users are pretty well protected from other users.

False, the two that are in recent news are meltdown and spectre, these directly affect the cpu of any machine bypassing software totally. These are inevitable on any somewhat modern processing unit, and both these and other hardware dependant/based viruses will get on apple devices as easily as any other, the more common software breed are still able to be used on apple devices, however, it is much harder, if nothing else because of how much apple doesn't let you do on your device also prevent action to that obtain viruses.
- Will my iPhone 5 be affected by the heat? My phone will be shipped to my house in about two weeks and I want to know if the heat will affect it if it sits in front of my house the whole day. I do live in Arizona and it still gets pretty hot throughout the day.
- Most online dating sites are a scam because they are usually run by fraudsters who work in call centres. True or false? Fraudsters who work in the call centres would use photographs of women to entice unsuspecting people and tell them what they want to hear, which is a money spinner. But people who are gullible enough to subscribe are usually disappointed because the fraudsters are usually men instead of women, but they have no romantic design whatsoever. These iPhone dating apps are mostly a scam, which is a complete waste of time and money. True or false?
