Iphone compatible with Straight Talk plan?

Now that Straight Talk is promoting their new "Bring Your Own Phone" plan, I was wondering if any iPhone's were compatible? I know you can go to the site & verify a particular phone however you need to already have it in your possession so you can enter the MEID #; I don't have an iPhone yet but am interested in getting one if they're usable with Straight Talk.

Any GSM based iphone will work fine, like ATT or Tmobile iphone

CDMA (verizon, sprint, virgin mobile) global ready iphone 4 will work… Since iphone 4 is not 4G LTE

BUT… And this goes for android, blackberry, and windows too… BUT… If your CDMA phone is 4G LTE… It… Will… NEVER… EVER work on straight talk. CDMA 4G LTE can't be re-programmed by ST… Why? Ask them… See if my statement is wrong! Which its not… Lol… Verizon/sprint/virgin mobile iphone4s/5/5s/5c are all 4g LTE

  • Why isn't my sprint iphone 5c compatible to straight talk? I bought my iPhone 5c (sprint) from a lady and it was factory reset and everything and I want to connect it to straight talk, but apparently it's not compatible. What can I do?
  • Where can i get a straight talk at&t compatible nano sim for iphone 5? Been looking for hours and i'm getting fed up with this. I have an Iphone 5 from At&t that i just had the plan canceled on a few days ago and want to activate it with straight talk. But for the life of me, i can't find the nano sim card for the iphone 5 anywhere. Does anyone know where i can order one from? I already have the phone i just need the sim.
  • Straight talk t mobile compatible sim in iphone? Willa straight talk t mobile compatible sim card work if I cut it and put it in my iPhone 4 at&t?
  • Should i buy an iPhone 4? Straight Talk plan? I'm currently wondering whether I should get an iPhone 4 or not. I currently have an iPod touch 4g, and a cheap Metro PCA qwerty keyboard. I plan on buying the phone unlocked from ebay or craigslist for about $200, as AT&T's plan is too expensive for me. I also plan on using straight talk on it, so I will be paying around $45 a month. So my question is, would it be worth it? I'm not really interested in the iPhone 5 or 4S at all.
