Iphone dying in the cold?
Is there anything i can do to stop this? I want to take pictures in snowy areas in the cold but my iphone just dies right away. Should i change the battery? Anything i can do? It's 2 years old and it's a 5s.
Upgrade to a phone from a quality manufacturer.
How cold is it? My phone doesn't die and I'm in Minnesota, where it is only 6 above. Where are you that it isso cold a phone dies as soon as you take it out of your pocket like that?
I think there are more problems than it being snowy…
Throw away your phone.
Look up iPhone lawsuit… They are under a case right now for slowing down batteries, and causing damages to phones with the recent updates… And they are making it right by replacing batteries for cheap.
Get a new battery
Get an android, i got an A5 and it never dies in the cold (especially when i use the GPS)
- Why does my Iphone lose battery in cold weather? I have an Iphone 5 and i usually keep it charging, but when it's like on 70% and i'm outside in 15-40 degree weather, all of a sudden it says that I only have 20% left, than about 1 minute later it says I have 10% left and than 20 seconds later, it dies. This has happened around 5 times and my question is why does my phone do this? And how can I fix it so it doesn't happen anymore?

- Lost my iphone in the cold outside? I'm an idiot, had a rough night last night. Got dropped off at home last night, was completely locked out in the freezing weather. Phone was dead. And I end up on my neighbors couch because it was die, or go there. Woke up, no phone. Walked to my house, my phone is sitting in the driveway FROZEN. -___________________________- I haven't charged it or tried to turn it on. It's a iphone 5. I currently have it next to my heater. What should I do or when should I turn it on?!
