IPHONE ERASE All SETTINGS AND CONTENT?
Ok so I just got a new iphone and my icloud didn't do it's job correctly it didn't load all my pics back up its 1500+.so I was going to erase and do it over. What happens if I do that do I lose anything? Will my icloud storage be ok? Is that a good thing? Or should I try something different
Erasing the phone just erases the phone and puts it back to factory settings. That won't hurt iCloud or what you have in it.

You will not get those photos back because icloud does not backup photos. It's meant to share photos and only hold them for 30 days after which they are deleted. Icloud will bring back other things such as notes and contacts and some app data (the app will have to be re-downloaded).
Icloud worked. It's just it doesn't do what you think it does. So goodbye 1500+ photos. And even then photostream can only hold 1000 and again deletes the older ones as you take more.
