IPhone froze on lockscreen, and my lock button doesn't work
I just picked my phone up to see it's frozen at the lockscreen, and my power button doesn't work. What do I do? My phone is also jailbroken, so warranty is already void. I was thinking I could pop my battery out, put it back in, then plug my phone in and hope it'll come on by itself, but I'm afraid if I do that it might require me to turn my phone on manually, which I can't do. Has anyone tried that? I at least hope it dies soon. It was at 38% about an hour and a half ago, and my screen is lit up. Just any advice anyone? I normally can figure these things out, but without a lock button it makes things impossible. Thank you!
Added (1). I figured it out! I took the back off my phone and up where your camera and flash is by there's a silver 'plate-like shield' covering some ribbon cables. I unscrewed the screws, lifted the plate off, and saw one of my ribbon cables had been undone! I simply pushed it back and my lock button works now, which means the rest of my phone works! Voila!
