Iphone going overseas do not want to have large bill?
Ok, so I'm going overseas later today. I have my Iphone however I do not want to get a big bill or have any charges, I just want to use my Iphone like an Ipod (to watch movies and listen to music etc). How should I do this so that I do not get any charges overseas?
I went to the Bahamas & I just turned on airplane mode that way I didn't receive any calls or texts. I used it to take pictures & came back to the US with no charges! If you'd rather call your phone company and have them temporarily disconnect your calling/texting they can probably do that. Have fun!
I would turn airplane mode on and turn off cellular data. You can stil use Wi-Fi and even send imessages free via Wi-Fi that way.
- Will turning data roaming off save me from getting big bill overseas? From the uk, I'm going to netherlands, will turning data roaming off help me? I will be using my iphone 5 for camera music and games, maybe a few texts
- Why is my bill going up on my iPhone phone data? Ok so my mom always gripes at me for me using to much data which I don't even use that much estimated 3 to 400 MB and our plan is 10 thousand I don't understand and she says I go over 40 dollars how?
- Why does my bill keep going up? I have an iphone 5s and i have unlimited everything and i'm on contract! However my bill keeps going up quite high and i never call anyone or hardly text why is this?
- What are some good, inexpensive, not large dual sim smartphones? I'm looking to get a dual sim smartphone and am curious if there are any good inexpensive models? Anything from the year 2014+. Biggest requirement is that it not huge (largest size would be iphone 5/ se), and has a good camera. 8 MP+ Other positive attributes - Can store music - user friendly Any help toward a new phone would be greatly appreciated!
