Iphone has a white line on screen?
I've read alot of issues with the whole screen being white which is NOT my issue. About a third of the way from the top I have a white line that goes all the way across the screen. My kids had been playing games on it and they claim that it "just happened". Not sure if I believe their story… I've restored the phone to factory settings and it did not go away. Any suggestions?
Make sure that your son/daughter has not "JailBroken" the phone. You can Google "jailbraking an iphone" if you're not sure what that is. The symptom you are describing is a side-effect of jailbraking.
See if you have an App on the phone called "Cydia". If you do… THERE'S YOUR PROBLEM, it's jailbroken.
If the phone is NOT jailbroken, your kids may be being honest and it did "just happen". Your phone may be in need of service if this is the case.

- White Screen of Death on My IPhone 3GS After Replacing Screen? I recently replaced the cracked screen of my IPhone 3GS. After reassembling it, I got the White Screen of Death. I've tried holding the power button and the home button to try to reboot, but it does not work. The phone seems to still be working normally other than the screen. In fact, it is currently playing music. Does anyone have and suggestions on how to fix this?
- White iPhone 4s has better screen than black 4s? My mom has a black 4s and i have a white one. They were bought from the exact same store on the exact same day. The black one has more of a washed out screen and not a true black its like a washed out black. The white one is much better… When starting up it is pure black unlike the black one. I had this exact same case with a black and white ipod touch. Why is this?
