Iphone headphone JACK having trouble playing music?
Everytime i listen to music on my iphone 4s with headphones in i have to pull the headphone thing out alittle bit for it to play, i've tried to clean out the inside of the headphone jack with tape and stuff but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?
I've tried many different headphones, its the headphone jack switch, when i put the headphones in it continues playing out the speakers.
Go to your local phone store
The jack set it shot. You've dropped it and it's loose or it's worn out. Happens.

- What is the little hole besides the headphone jack on the iphone 4? Okay i have heard people with att that has an iphone say that if they stick a pin in the hole that a dim card tray will pop out. But my iphone is with sprint so i thought they didn't have sim cards so what will happen if i hit the button. * i'm not trolling this is my first time having anything from apple i'm a android person. * please no smart remarks!
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
- Is my iPhone the cause of my headphone jack breaking? So I have an iPhone 4S and I was using these headphones for about a year and all the sudden the jack you plug in to the phone, bent. It wouldn't work anymore. I don't know how this happened, it may not have been my iPhone. - Iphone headphone jack problem? The case I use for my iPhone pushes against my headphone jack when I plug it in, meaning the headphone jack barely fits in the phone, lately I have been hearing some static from my headphones, could this be from the misalignment of the jack and audio socket caused by the case? I tried multiple pairs of headphones so they are not causing the problem.
