IPhone help? More info in description?

So I'm buying a used iPhone 4 tomorrow (its in EXCELLENT condition and i'm getting it cheap.) I know I want ios7. I need to know how to download ios7 and need to know how the phone will react while it is downloading (turn off, reboot?) I also need to know that if I reset the iPhone, will it delete absolutley everything, even passwords? And how do I reset the iPhone

Resetting it would delete everything including passwords and settings

When it updates it will turn off and an apple logo will come up with a progress bar underneath it (Its gonna do everything itself)

If you or the seller resets the iPhone to default settings then the latest iOS 7.1.1 will be installed. If it comes with iOS 6 I would highly recommend NOT upgrading it because iOS 7 doesn't run will on iPhone 4, as it is an old phone.

Make sure the seller turns off find my iPhone and logs off their iCloud service, otherwise you won't be able to activate it if it already has iOS 7.

I forgot to mention if you decide to reset to default settings anyway, you'll need to download iTunes. Once you download iTunes you'll have to make an apple account and iCloud account, but its easy. Once that happens you'll be able to reset to default settings. It'll download iOS 7.1.1 and then wipe out everything stored on the iPhone and replace it with iOS 7.1.1.

To downgrade iOS 7, you are to suffer the risk to lose iPhone data or get into stuck screen just as the upgrade. However, there are chances to run well without any risk. To avoid losing data or settings on iPhone, backup iPhone to iTunes or computer. In case you lose iPhone data, you can restore the lost data from backup. When iPhone stuck on dead, Apple logo screen, you can use recovery mode to fix it.

  • Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.
  • Which is more accurate regarding the details of an iphone, iphoneimei.info or imei.info? When I look up the IMEI of my broken iphone 5s on iphoneimei.info it says it's 16gb and when I look it up on imei.info it says it's 32gb… Which site is more accurate? The iphone is stuck in recovery mode and will not power on unless connected and it won't tell me the storage capacity in itunes.
  • More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
  • Should I buy an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5? Read Description? Both are very similar. I lost my 4s recently and I want to know if it would be better to buy another 4s or 5 to use for all 4 years in college. I will be an incoming freshman. Do you think I should spend extra for a minor hardware and software upgrade or get another 4s?
