IPhone help: receiving texts from myself and more?

If I text someone, I recurve my own text… My mom gets my text… And my dad (they receive the replies as well)

Can someone please help, I have inappropriate conversations and if they recurve texts from one of my friends or guys, it won't be good!

Is it something with iCloud but all it says under that is my Apple ID… That's all

This has happened to me before also and it can be VERY annoying as a teen! To fix this get on your parents phone and go to setting-messages-then send and receive and ONLY have selected there numbers! If your getting their text Also go to your setting messages and do the same only selecting your number! The reason this happens is because you all share the same Apple ID/ iMessage account

Thats because you are all sharing the same Apple ID and sending imessages (its a feature asalot of people like that since they can send to iphone, ipad, mac all at the same time, etc). Sign up for your own Apple ID.
