IPhone internet history same as Laptop?
I was just browsing the internet this afternoon on my laptop and then just now I was on the internet on my iPhone and the suggestions that come up for recently searched stuff on Google was exactly the same as on my laptop. Word for word. How can this be? I'm guessing it is to do with my Google Account being the same on both devices and maybe that has picked it up… But if not, surely this is an insanely obvious lack of privacy and confidentiality somewhere along the line?
If you're logged in with your Google Account on both devices, then yes the history will be the same!
Happens to me too. It picks up suggestions near your locations I guess.
Or yeah, your google account.
Google usually transfers information from device to device. If you're signed in with your usual account, then there will be the same information. Likewise, I signed in on a computer and made bookmarks with my account, and thankfully, they transferred. Hope that helped!
- My mom and i got the same phone and same plan yet her internet loads all the time and mine never does? Two iPhone 7+. Same unlimited data plan. Yet literally no matter where I'm, nothing that uses data loads unless I'm connected to Wi-Fi. Yet my mom's internet loads no matter where she is. It's even happened that we're in the same place trying to load the same thing and hers loads while mine doesn't. Yes, I have my data turned on. I've made sure all my data settings are identical to my mom's. So i really don't know what could be causing this.

On my iPhone, I cleared cookies and cache and history, can the company still track the websites that were visited before I cleared all of that? Please say no.
