Iphone keeps using celluar data on home screen?
Just trying to figure out what's going on. Whenever i'm on the home screen with no apps running the celluar data indicator spins, but as soon as i open a any app it goes away. Just wondering why is the phone doing this, if anyone knows why. And if possible is there a way to stop it.
I'm not sure why either…
But if you are concerned about using data up you can go to settings> cellular > cellular data. Then you can switch it off and that will stop data usage when you don't want to use it
Also if you have an app constantly refreshing on the home screen you
Can turn off cellular data for the certain apps under the same place. Disabling data for certain apps may stop the spinning.
They won't tell you
- Why won't my iphone 5s connect to celluar data? I have straight talk and my iPhone 5s won't connect to the cellular data. Anybody know what I can do? I've already talked to customer service and they're no help.
- Which iphones home screen have screen rotation for the APPS HOME screen? I know the iphones on web rotation on internet use and youtube thats not what i'm asking the home screen which iphones have a home screen where the apps are have rotation not web or youtube or videos the home screen which iphone?
- What happens when I turn off 3G and celluar network on iphone? I just went over my internet usage and I have more than 25 days remaining, it has already charged me about $30. If I turn off 3G and celluar network, does that mean I won't have access to the internet, meaning that it won't charge me. How does that work?
- Is there an iPhone app to go to the home screen? My Home button isn't working well? IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
