IPhone messages (saved) won't clear?

IMy iPhone Usage under settings says that my "messages (saved)" are taking up 1.5 GB of data. I don't see any kind of Delete button for it. So how do I clear this? Please help. I've rest my phone multiple times and have ios7

Texts can take up a lot of space. You can delete portions of a text conversation or entire threads at one time.
Once you do, you'll need to resync with iTunes or it will keep a backup of your phone before you cleaned all that stuff out of it.

  • My MacBook hasn't saved some messages from my iPhone? I'm using Macbook air and iphone. I updated it recently so devices are all new versions. The problem is there's no message saved for few days. It hasn't saved since few days ago and has started to save from today so i have all messages i've sent today. Is there any way to save them manually?(not iTunes but iMessage!)
  • IPhone says I have 4.0 GB in Messages (Saved)? On my iPhone 5s in Settings>Usage it says there's 4.0 GB of Messages (Saved). I hardly have any messages on my phone so I'm wondering how to maybe fix this problem? I know that you can still see deleted message in spotlight search so is there maybe a way to delete those permanently?

  • If I upgrade my IPhone 5c to a Iphone 6s will i lose all my tapped/saved messages on Snapchat? If I use iCloud backup would that work? I would screenshot, but I don't want to be creepy about it. I sent this girl I liked a message how I felt about her and she saved it so did I. I don't want to lose it.
