Iphone music via hands free remote?

I have this item: http://www.ebay.co.uk/...1497.l2649
and when I put an sd card in it all works fine but when connected to iphone 4s via bluetooth i can't change track or play/pause or answer calls using either of the remote that come with the unit. The buttons in question do nothing.
Please help.

Added (1). The instruction manual is written the same.
Good price so though I try it. If it faulty i will send back and sell can pay return costs. Do not think it to do with iphone as htc has sme issue and seen iphone controled by bluetooth built in to cars.

When trying to control the functions via remote on iphone I get a message on handsfree display saying "BT Taking".

Have messaged seller to see if they can help.

Not sure if to ask for refund and buy another unit or if this is an issue that can be sorted.
Also if i get a new unit (diff make) then would I get the same issue?

It may that the Iphone is limited in what it can do via bluetooth (you can't file transfer etc),

but i wouldnt buy anything that had a listing like this…

•Supports the remote control to meet dials or pick up telephone.

•When telephone coming the music automatic cut over to telephone conversation condition.

•Broadcast music stored up by the automobile through car stereo system.

  • Will the iPhone 6 have a big enough screen for man hands? Will the iPhone 6 have a big enough screen for "man" hands? The current iPhone is just too damn small. I mess up everything I type! I just wonder if I need the 4.7" or the 5.5" screen?
  • Why do my hands go numb while holding my iPhone? My hands oftenly go numb (more of a pins and needles feeling) while holding my phone for a while. Is this due to the radiation from my phone? Also, it's not the way I hold my phone because it goes "numb" in any position.
  • Which cell phone is the best hands down (Nokia Lumia 1020 or iPhone 5s)? I'm planning on getting a new cell and i can't make up my mind between the too. I love the camera on the Lumia and I love the design and how the messaging is on the iPhone 5s is. There are some parts on each cell that i love. Do you see my problem? Which cell should i buy? Which one is more worth my money?
  • Where can I go to get hands on with the iphone 6? So I'm interested in getting the new iphone 6, but first I want to actually try using it. So do any of you know if Best Buy, AT&T or any places I could go to try it out first? Perhaps the Apple store?
