Iphone on at&t prepaid network?

I have the iphone 4 and I'm on the prepaid network for at&t. I was getting the 250 min and buying the 1g of data for $25 each. But they just recently changed everything and made it so the actual packages are better deals i think its $60 now for 500 min and 2 gigs. I was just wondering do the packages even work if you buy them? Or what do you suggest.

  • Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
  • Which prepaid mobile network in the US allows you to tether your iPhone? I've been looking at Virgin, who offer uncapped data on month-by-month plans, but it's not clear if they allow you to tether your iPhone (AKA use it as a 'personal hotspot'). Any suggestions?
  • What's a prepaid phone? Can IPhones be prepaid? I'm going to buy an IPhone 4 from my friend and i'm wondering if it can be prepaid? If so do I need anything like a sim chip? & It's not on contract… Or could I just go on a plan without being on a contract?
  • What's the difference between off-network and on-network? I'm try to work out which is best for what I want out of the service.
