IPhone or Android? An unbiased opinion?
I've had an iPhone 3GS for 3 years now and I've been looking for a change. I'm trying to decide between an iPhone 5 (or 5S in September/October) or an Android?
Four years ago, Androids were glitchy, slow, unintuatove and not nearly as polished as the iPhone and iOS. I know Apple has their phones heavily regulated, but I like how simple it is to use my phone. I also know that Android has come a long way over the past few years.
Can someone give me an unbiased recommendation? I'm not looking for any Apple/Android Fanboys.
Depends on what you want. Android was meant for customization. Either simple or complicated styles. Also allows 3rd party downloads.
IPhones were made for more simple and un customizable options. It's also more of a consumer resource for buying.
So think about which one you need or want more.
Android is much better in my opinion.
The iphone5's have had many sent back as i know A lot of people that have had problems with the software. If you're going to get an iphone id suggest getting an iphone 4s or defiantly waiting for the 5s.
However i have also known many people with htc's that seem very reliable and i've only known one that has been sent off to insurance and that was for a cracked screen. The Samsung are also great phones as they're really good looking and also reliable.except from htc's and samsung i wouldn't recommend you get any other android as most are unreliable.
My advice would differ based out of what you want out of your device. Here are the advantages of both:
iOS
-Easy to use
-Bigger app store
-Integrated to the Mac computer line
-Updates as soon as they come out
Android
-More customizable
-More powerful hardware on higher end phones
-More devices to choose from
-Works just as well with each other over multiple platforms (incl. Linux)
I think android is much better

- Your opinion: Best protective case for an iPhone? It seems the Otterbox is the most go-to brand but does a Griffin case do just as well? What other brands work? I'm new to the iPhone world and I don't really want to drop and damage an expensive phone.
- When Android user sends text to a mixed group of iPhone and Android users? A family member who is an Android user sent a text message to a large group of recipients, including me. The group has both Android users and iPhone users. I'm an iPhone user. Does this mean that I will receive everyone else s messages like an iMessage group, or will all messages go directly between the conversation starter and whoever is messaging him, without any of the other group members seeing what the other members said?
- Instagram on iPhone - Any opinion? Any views about Instagram on iPhone, IIm looking forward to install instagram to experience new app for photo sharing.
