IPhone Problem: Airplane mode and text messaging?
I switch my iPhone to airplane mode at night (so people can't wake me with late night calls etc) and when I go into places where there's no cell coverage (to save battery but still let me use camera and music).
BUT
When I switch it back off airplane mode it takes a Really LONG TIME to reconnect to sms service.
Phone calls and internet work fine straight away, but texts take a really long time to sort themselves out.
Very frustrating, does anyone else have this problem?
Because when youre on an airplane your not supposed to contact anyone calling or texting. It happens all the time.

- Problem with iPhone text messaging? Ever since I downloaded the new iOS my text messages all have the current date and time on them instead of the actual date and time they were sent or received. Any idea what is going on or how to fix this?
