IPhone problem! Home button is broken

My iPhone 4 home button is broken and i need to find out how i can access the on screen home button on setting but it isn't available because my iPhone's iOS is not new enough. I tried updating it and it said it was complete but nothing changed!

There's no 'on screen Home Button' on iOS devices. I would consider sending your iPhone for repair.

You can try taking out the battery, then turn it back on (with the home button and the button on the top,
If doesn't work: take the phone to verizon or sone place.

Well if you still have a warranty on it take it to an apple store and they will either fix it or replace it but if they replace it your data for everything will be in settings for icloud

You can enable Assistive Touch if you have iOS 5 or later version.
Restart your iPhone and computer and try to upgrade iOS using iTunes again and it will work. There's no way to not upgrade iPhone 4 to the latest version of iOS

  • Unknown password, broken home button on iphone 3g? Ok my friend forgot his password for his iPhone and he asked me if i could restore it. I found out that the home button was broken so i can't put it into dfu mode! I have tried recboot but no luck. The phone says connect to iTunes because of failed password attempts.iTunes doesn't let me connect the phone and says i need to enter the phones password? Please help He never synced with itunes and didn't have findmyiphone

I really need help please anything will help! The battery was completely dead when i went to plug it in and this occurred. My lock and home button are broken… Usually i've been able to manage with assistive touch and making it so it won't lock automatically, but recently i had to restore it. When i did, i went to my photos first to check to see if I still had any, but now I realize I don't have assistive touch yet and i'm stuck at my photos. How do i get out?
  • Is the my iPhone home button broken? I mean it works but Everytime I like wiggle it or rub it and click it makes a click noise like really loud. I haven't dropped it at all and it just happened yesterday
