IPhone q: can you play music and silence all interruption alerts/calls?
I have an iPhone 4 and am going to be using it tonight as a dance party DJ, hooked up to speakers. It's just occurred to me that I don't want the music to be interrupted by text messages or calls. How can I do this? Does iPhone 4 have airplane mode, and would that do the trick? Is there a way just to silence the alert so I could still SEE texts, but not have it interrupt the music?
I don't know about the iphone 4 but the iphone 5 has a Do Not Disturb setting
Go to settings and turn on the Do Not Disturb, if you are on iOS 6. You can also set the settings so it's only for a certain time period and a few other things. You can still go see the texts and check them because music will play in the background of apps on any iPhone.
- Need to silence email alert on iPhone 4? I go to settings>email>none (for no sound) and it still makes noise. No matter what I do to silence the email part it still alerts me. I need to hear me phone during the night so when my friend goes into labor I have to watch her other kids. Everyone has tried to help me w this but my bro says I should just do a restore but that means getting rid of 2, 000 photos which will be a pain. Any thoughts?
- If you delete a call log from iphone, can you still find the record of calls and facetimes from your service provider (tmobile)? Facetime is something for only apple devices, but would your service provider still have your facetime calls in their logs? And what about regular phone calls? If so, is there a way to request they are deleted?
- How to silence and turn off buzzer for e-mail on my iPhone? How do I do that without turning off the buzzer for phone calls? I don't want notified off my e-mail on my iPhone but of course I want my phone calls to ring or vibrate. Thanks. I do have silent ring tone and e-mails are on silent ring tones. Is that the reason why I can't turn off the buzzer for my e-mails on my iPhone?
