IPhone's internet will not work without Wi-Fi?
My internet typically works with and without Wi-Fi. If I left the house, the Wi-Fi signal icon would be replaced by a 4G icon or an LET icon. But recently, my internet (whether it be 4G or LET) just stopped working when I'm not connected to Wi-Fi. It has happened before and I've reset my phone to fix the problem. But now, when I reset my phone, it still won't work. It's becoming very annoying and I have no idea what to do. Could anybody help? It's an iPhone 5S if that helps anything. I also got it October 2014.
Is it possible that LTE has been accidentally disabled from within your iPhone's settings?
You can check to see whether or not LTE is enabled by going to Settings > Cellular > Enable LTE.
However, if LTE is enabled and you are still unable to access your cell phone service provider's network when you're not connected to Wi-Fi, another thing to try would be to put your iPhone into "Airplane Mode", and then take it back out of "Airplane Mode", in order to see if this helps to resolve the issue.
If that doesn't work, you may want to try restarting your iPhone, simply be shutting it off and then turning it back on.
Should that still not work, and you have even tried restarting or resetting your iPhone, you may want to contact your cell phone service provider's customer support, letting them know about this issue, as they may be better able to help you resolve this issue.

- Will an iphone 3 still work without internet? I'm currently with t-mobile. I have an unlocked iphone 3 from at&t that will still work with t-mobile service. My t-mobile plan does not include data/internet plan. I do NOT want to change that but i want the iphone. Can i still use it without internet plan? Can i still use the Wi-Fi on it? And my major concern is that when i switch my phones they will add internet anyway. Please leave helpful and detailed answers.
