IPhone S5 screen won't turn on?

I tried to fix it because the screen was glitching and had random lines, so I looked up videos, opened it up and fix the loose cables there. Been trying for hours, now. Had random results, and I even came to a point I couldn't see anything. Then I fixed that and went back to square one, only to **** up again and now the screen won't turn on. The iPhone does turn on (can tell because it beeps/vibrates, even tried the Home/Sleep button trick multiple times.

Really ******* scared I might've burnt off the screen. I can't afford one.

Maybe try holding the off n on button and holding the home button at the same time. That usually helps with my phone
