IPhone says no more storage but I only used up half?
My phone always says "out of storage" and even when it's not I only have a few hundred megabytes left. But today I added all the storage my phone says is taken up by my apps and it added up to just under half my storage! I should have 6 free gigabytes. What's the problem? Btw I included a picture below. Only thing it doesn't show is a few apps that in total equal 25.9mb 
That list you show is incomplete. But you probaly want to connect to iTunes so you can see where the space is being used. My guess is there are photos in the "recently deleted" file, lots of iMessages, lots of voice mails in the deleted voice mails section… And that is just a start… But a good start.
There's 'other' taking your iPhone space, too. The 'other' is including apps' cache file. You can use some software to clean it. I use iMyfone Space Saver for iPhone. It can free up iPhone space by junk file clean-up and photo compression. Quite useful.
- What to do about my iphone storage saying I'm using up way more photo storage than I actually am? My storage says I have 132 photos that's using up most of my storage; almost 3 GB. I have only 52 photos and 15 videos in my phone. It seems like it may be using storage from pictures I deleted, but apparently they're still using space? ? Has this happened to anyone else. I've taken my phone to an apple store, and I didn't get any answers.
- What my iphone 4s storage says i have isn't the same as how much i actually used? When i go into my storage and usage in settings it says i have used 5.8 gb and if you look at all the apps i have and how much storage they add up to, it should only be about 3 gb.
- My iPhone says that my Notes is taking up 1.79 GB of storage. I only have 3 notes, and there isn't a lot of text in them. How do I fix this? Recently there were a lot of notes on my phone, but I deleted most of them until there were only three notes left. However, my phone still says my Notes takes up 1.79 GB. I tried writing a really lengthy note to see if the GB would go higher, but it didn't change. I don't want to delete my three remaining notes, which have very little text in them. I doubt that these notes are taking up 1.79 GB. What is the problem here, and how do I fix it?
- Iphone 6 says i have more phone than i do? Using up too much storage? My iphone 6 is acting up because it says i have over 1,000 photos in my storage space but only says i have 100-150 photos in my phone. How do i free that photo storage space from itunes?
