IPhone screen blank after dropping it and it overheating?
Added (1). I dropped my phone this morning and the screen went black, but every time I picked it up it was hot, like it was overheating and now it's fine but still won't turn on? Any ideas?
If you dropped it and it overheated and the screen is now blank.
Assuming the device powers on properly and was not severly damaged the screen itself is shot otherwise a more complicated internal problem which would cause it not to display
Probably because you dropped it.
It clearly suffered serious damage then, didn't it?
The symptoms strongly suggest that the battery at the very least has been ruined but expect more damage the that.
You can take it to a repair shop for diagnosis but will likely spend money just to find the phone is scrap.
