IPhone sending messages to other people?
So for the past few days, whenever I text my parents, like if I text my Mom my dad will get it or if I text my dad my mom will get it. When I try sending a message to either, I'll get the ones my mom and I were on but it'll have a different number on top. I checked iCloud and not any of us are sharing the same address, we just share the same account. I hard restarted my phone thinking it would help but it didn't. My phone made a static noise twice, I'm also being told by my iPhone that the battery has been degraded. I'm not sure /what/ to do. I'm absolutely sure my phone is slowly dying though.
"we just share the same account". You answered your own question. ICloud is not designed to have a single shared account for multiple people. Set up your own iCloud account.
- Why isn't my Iphone sending picture messages? When i try and send picture messages my iphone says message send failure? Also, 3g isn't working.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- Why do iPhone messages come up as picture messages on other phones? When my friend sends me texts, she has an iphone, they come up as picture messages and i can't revieve them on my phone because my plan doesn't cover picture messages. Can she change the settings so it won't come up as a picture?
- When I text other iPhones why is it sending as a text message? I have an iPhone 4 I was on AT&T and I just switched to straight talk. In my setting I have all the iMessage and everything turned on. Sometimes it will work whenever I text another iPhone but most of the time it won't. I have tried turning the phone off and back on. It's really irritating. If someone could help me that would be great.
