IPhone speakers not working?

I accidentally got a bit of water on my iPhone 4s about an hour ago and ever since the speakers don't work… I can listen to music with headphones and it works but other than … Show more

You might be screwed. If you ever get water in/on your phone you should immediately turn it off and let it dry. Turn it off and put it in rice for a couple days until it's COMPLETELY dry before you try turning it back on.

Try if the phone can hear your sound (see if you can use voice search)
It might be stuck on headset mod.connect your headset to phone and play a song. When it is playing quick remove the headset and connect it and remo. And conn. Do this few time when the song is playing suddenly the speaker will work.(if that was the problem.) This worked for me when I thought my speaker was lost forever.see if that's the problem. If not let me know! I'll help out!

  • Water Dancing Speakers not working? I just got a pair of Water Dancing Speakers in the mail I ordered off thinkgeek.com. The brand is leading edge but they won't work with the music or my iPhone. The light goes on and water shoots up when I plug them into my computer but when I play music no sound comes out and no water shoots up, the lights just stay on. Is there something I'm not doing first to make them work?
  • Speakers on my iPhone 4s are not working? I think i got a little water in it, but now the speakers won't show up or play!(only without earphones) is there any way i can fix this? I've already tried restarting it and it didn't work… Any way i can clean it or something?
  • Speakers on iphone are not working? Music only plays when headphone are in i have tried cleaning the hole where the headphones plug in and sometimes it works then other times it doesn't help me.
  • Speakers on IPad and IPhone not working? The speakers on my iPad 2 are playing sound, but it sounds almost as though it were silent. I put it on full volume, and it just won't play high at all! I would need to put my ear to the speaker just to hear something. Also, if I put in headphones, no sound at all plays. I'm almost positive it has nothing to do with the settings because I tried that already. The iPhone won't play any sound at all, and it had nothing to do with the mute button.
