IPhone storage full but iCloud storage not?
I'm in the Navy and I'm going on deployment soon so, I'm racking up on stuff like movies and music so I won't be bored during deployment… I'm 3 seasons in on downloading stuff on Netflix and it says my storage is full… I deleted a lot of useless apps and music already and I downloaded a few more then it happened again… I see my iCloud storage is very empty but my phone storage is too full… How can I fix this.
You can only toss certain things to your iCloud, I believe. You can purchase more iCloud space, but I'm not sure what you can store there. You'll have to read the agreement. This is why I want to switch to a Samsung Galaxy. I don't like being limited to s certain size and like to swap out my storage with different genres.
You can only put personal files into the iCloud such as photos, personal videos etc. You can't store apps or full movies/TV shows into iCloud. Maybe go through your photos app and delete thing you don't need, you can even transfer them to the cloud so you still have them but not on your device.
ICloud storage is internet based storage, & also for specific things like iPhone backups. You'd just have to figure out if you would sacrifice more stuff to make space for the Netflix stuff.

- Iphone 4s storage is almost full but hardly have any songs or pictures? I have an Iphone 4s. It says that 5.2GB of storage is used and I have 800 MB avaliable. I went under usage and it says that music is my most used but I only have 104 songs. I delete my messages and have only have about 150 photos. My friend who has the same phone I do has hundreds of more songs and pictures and she doesn't seem to have a problem with her storage. I have 2 pages of apps as well. It doesn't seem right to me?
