Iphone update problem.stuck on connect to itunes screen? - 1
You know that screw with that usb pointing to the itunes logo? Well, see my usb jack is broken on my laptop so i can't connect it that way. Its been stuck like that all night.so, is there anyway to abort the software update? I've already tried pressing the off button, but it just turns off and returns to that screen.
Hold power/sleep button for 3 seconds, than hold power/sleep + home button until you see apple. If this does not work your phone might be bricked, or has a software problem. I recommend you try the buttons first.
You can't really do anything without connecting to your PC, but you can use iREB or TinyUmbrella to get your iPhone out of recovery mode when you finally connect it through USB again.
