IPhone was stolen and it says it is offline?
My iPhone was stolen yesterday at football. *They stole $20 too /:* Anyway, I got on Find My iPhone and my device says "Offline" and will not give me a location to find it. Is there some way I can turn it on?
Most crooks tend to take the sim out, and turn the phone off for a week or more. I would suggest you keep trying daily, also hope your phone and sim was locked with a security code…
Most likely they restored it back to factory if it was locked. Call your carrier so they know its stolen, but they will probably just use it as an ipod touch.
- Stolen iphone offline - tracking via icloud? Hi a colleagues iphone was stolen today and they've given me their icloud details to try help track their phone. Its offline so i'm assuming its been turned off. if i check the 'notify when found' button will the thief know i've done this?
