IPhone was stolen can they jailbreak it?

So on Saturday my things were stolen one of which was my I phone, I have pictures of them saying they have my things and that they will smash it and that they'll sell it and so forth. What can I do about getting it back? If not i called my company and they said they deactivated it (AT&T) but all my everything is in the phone if they jailbreak it will they see all my things and data? Will they be able to use my stuff after? The fact that someone else has my stuff is making me more mad

Just tell the police to trace the mobile and give them the phone's IMEI number (usually written on the box, if not, contact the company from where you bought it.)

  • Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
  • Iphone stolen, can they see all my info? I got my iphone stolen from me last friday. I got my friend to try and track it but the app says the phone is dead. Wouldn't of someone turned it on by now? Why hasn't the app told my friend that its been turned on? Could the person have taken the sim card out and now i can't track it? I told my phone company to suspend it, so no one can use it. Its also locked. Can the person that stole it still be able to get a my info?
  • Iphone got stolen can they turn off tracking easy? My iphone didn't have a password can they just go onto location services and turn it off? Is there any other ways of tracking it?
  • If I buy an iPhone from someone's else, can they still report it stolen after I've already activated it? For example: if I buy a phone from a girl on Facebook, then go to T-Mobile and it's clean, not iCloud locked, not stolen, ready to be activated. Then I activate it. Can that person then report it? Even after it's already set up with T-Mobile as active
