IPhone won't play 2160p (4k)?

So when I try to play a video online thats in 2610p 4k quality, my iphone 7 is unable to play it and it just shows loading endlessly, why is that? I didn't pay a thousand dollars for a device that can't even play 4k videos online:/

If it's just buffering instead of giving you can error message then it could easily be your Internet speed. Streaming 4K content requires good download speed due to the size of data for 4K. If your Internet isn't fast enough then you may get stuck buffering

  • Why won't YouTube won't play videos on my iPhone? My phone randomly stopped playing YouTube videos. It just shows that it is loading and never play. I have great Wi-Fi connection. Every other app including Netflix runs smoothly. It doesn't work on the app or browser. I cleared the cache on my browser. I reset my phone. My phone and the app are updated completely.   • Why won't my Xbox 360 play my iPhone music? I've downloaded the optional media update from XBL. I go to the My Music app and it says Apple iPhone but when I go into it, it says no songs could be found. The Xbox is updated and so is my iPhone. I do have music on my iPhone. What's the problem?
