IPhone won't restore. Error 4005?
My iPhone died yesterday. I didn't drop it or get it wet or anything, it just died for no reason.
I've been researching what to do, my screen is just black and doesn't connect to iTunes unless I hold the power button and home button simultaneously for 10 seconds and then release the power button.
When it connects to iTunes it prompts me that I need to restore my iPhone and then 'waits for iPhone' for a while and then tells me it can't be restored due to error 4005.
Just restart both the computer and the phone and try again that happened to me yesterday

I have read that deleting your yahoo email profile can resolve this but will it erase all my emails currently on my iPhone. Or will it redownload them when I re-register my yahoo email account?

I used tiny umbrella and managed to get past the 3194 error, but then I'm getting error 11. I was going to use my old iphone 4 for music since my 4s is full so i reset it and it says activation request could not be completed if problem persists, please contact costumer care i have a few problems here now 1) the lock button is broken so i can't do the home & lock at the same time to restart it method 2) i don't have warranty so i can't call costumer care 3) what do i do Not jailbroken, bought it straight from apple, no sim could that be the problem?
- Iphone 4 won't restore through itunes? Comes up with error 306? My iphone won't turn on, or reset using the home and the power button it just stays on a blank screen. So I've been trying to restore it through recovery mode in itunes on my laptop. However when it comes up with the iphone recovery mode and gives the option to 'restore iphone' I click on it and it comes up with 'The software update server could not be connected unknown error 306'. Anyone any idea how to fix this?
