IPhone x or iPhone 8 plus? - 1

Which is better and why? I currently have the 6 plus (had it since it came out) and it's time for a new phone.
~Thanks in advance

Define "better".

Facial recognition security: iPhone X

Audio, battery life, apps, something else?

The iPhone 8 does everything just as well and as fast as the iPhone X at a lower price.

All it really lacks is the clunky and slow facial recognition, and the OLED screen.

It also does not have an ugly bite taken out of the top of the screen, and because the aspect ratio of the iPhone X is different to other iPhones many images and videos are actually larger on the iPhone 8 screen.

On balance, I chose to go for the 8. I'll let others take the pain of being guinea pigs for the facial recognition and having to learn awkward key presses to make up for the lack of the home button.

When Apple learn to get the facial recognition as fast and accurate as the fingerprint scanning home button, and learn how to do as they wished but failed in incorporating the fingerprint scanner into the phone screen then I might change my mind. They'll also have to bring the price down: over £1000 for a phone is utterly ridiculous and attracts every thief and mugger.

The X of course is better.

Compare them at Apple.com & see.

The X has more features but the 8 plus has a bigger screen.
