Iphones 4s not receiving Wi-Fi signal?
HI, i have a iphone 4s which is unable to receive a Wi-Fi network signal. I have tried all the resets, and they did not work. The phone is out of warranty so i was able to replace the Wi-Fi flex cable, and the Wi-Fi receiver module, but still no signal. Has anyone resolved this problem before?
Added (1). Edit: It is not able to find any network. My home network works fine on everything else, including my other iphone 4s. The Wi-Fi toggle in the settings menu is *greyed out*, and unable to be toggled to on or off.
Is it your home Wi-Fi, or anyone's Wi-Fi? It could be your Wi-Fi doesn't let the iPhone connect, instead of the other way around.
If your Wi-Fi is greyed out the only thing left to do is to do a back up in itunes and restore as new device. If it is still greyed out it is a hardware issue and will need to be replaced. Make sure you do a back up first to save your stuff.

In this NY Times article they say the Presidents iPhone calls to his friends are not secure and the Chinese and maybe the Russians are monitoring them. Why don't the security experts install the Signal app on the President's phone, and tell his friends how to install it on their phones and then ask them to call using Signal?
